WHAT EXACTLY IS
A MODULAR HOME?
Modular homes have come a long way since we
built our first one in the 1980's. Now, when
someone walks into one of our energy efficient,
custom designed modular homes, we always get the
same reaction - "I can't believe this is a
modular!"
Not to be confused with a double wide
manufactured home, a modular home is the
culmination of one type of building system - a
highly engineered method of producing building
in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Modular homes are constructed in segments
(called modules) in a climate controlled factory
by skilled craftsmen using precise machinery and
methods. When these modules come together on
your building site and our special finishing
touches are complete, the modules become a
beautiful, environmentally friendly home for you
and your family.
